Myra Galinato
Vice President
Myra Galinato is a seasoned leader in Hawaii’s tourism and hospitality sector, currently serving as Vice President of Blue Hawaiian Activities, the experiential arm of Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. In this role, she leads business development initiatives, driving growth through hotel partnerships, enhancing online sales channels, and overseeing the division’s profit & loss performance.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the Hawaiian hospitality industry, Myra has built a strong reputation for boosting profitability, fostering collaborative relationships, and elevating service standards. She joined Blue Hawaiian four years ago as General Manager of Blue Hawaiian Activities, where she steered operations and significantly contributed to its positioning as a premier experiences provider across the Pacific and United States. Myra is known for her dynamic leadership style, a keen analytical focus on profit & loss management, strong hotel partnerships, and a passion for driving online sales growth.
Prior to her tenure at Blue Hawaiian, Myra held the position of General Manager for Expedia Local Expert in Hawai‘i. There, she managed concierge operations across the Hawaiian Islands and supported teams in Florida and international call centers, gaining invaluable insights into travel technology, OTA partnerships, and guest service optimization.
Blue Hawaiian President & CEO Quentin Koch praised Myra as “a pioneer in our industry” whose vision, collaborative spirit, and leadership have been key in raising standards and expanding the company’s footprint—with new physical locations and enhanced digital platforms.
Beyond her professional achievements, Myra is an active voice in Hawaii’s hospitality community. She serves on the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association’s Transportation & Activities Committee, advising on industry practices and legislative matters. Myra is also a sought-after speaker at industry conferences, including Arival 360, where she has shared her expertise on destination experience, concierge services, and distribution strategies.
A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Myra is deeply rooted in Hawaii and balances her professional life with a personal dedication to travel, golfing, and cherishing time with family.
