Our boats are the perfect balance—large enough to provide a comfortable, stable experience, yet nimble enough to venture into the most spectacular sea caves along the coast. When conditions allow, our expert captains will guide you inside ancient lava-formed caves for a truly mind-blowing, up-close encounter with Na Pali’s wild beauty.

An Afternoon Na Pali Coast Tour is the ideal choice for photography lovers. Afternoons on the coast offer the best lighting conditions as the sunlight shines directly onto the cathedrals of Na Pali at this time of day.

*Wildlife, snorkeling and cave entry are never guaranteed. Our captains will do everything in there power to make all of these happen but the safety of our guests and crew will always come first.

Wildlife sightings and sea cave entry are not guaranteed and depend on weather and ocean conditions. Check-in begins promptly; late arrivals that miss the tour are non-refundable. Spray-on sunscreen (aerosol) is not permitted. This is an adventure tour. Ocean conditions can vary and may become rough at times, so the experience may not be suitable for everyone. Hanalei Charters reserves the right to refuse service due to safety or health conditions. All tour details and snorkel destinations are subject to change, and tours may be canceled due to weather or safety conditions.

Participant Restrictions

• Guests are required to complete and sign a digital health waiver.
• Participants must be at least 5 years old.
• Guests with the following conditions cannot participate: bad back, heart issues, recent surgeries, severe joint or neck problems, or severe allergies.
• Maximum weight limit: 300 lbs.
• Pregnant individuals at any stage cannot participate.
• Guests with diminished strength, balance issues, or who cannot support themselves while seated or standing cannot participate.
• Participants must be able to climb a vertical dive ladder during snorkeling to re-enter the vessel.
• Mobility aids such as wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, or canes are not permitted.
• Ocean conditions may feel similar to a roller coaster ride, horseback ride, or dune buggy ride.
