Traditional Hawaiian Luau
The Old Lahaina Luau takes great pride in presenting an authentic Hawaiian luau.An evening of traditional Hawaiian cuisine, music, cultural dances and island crafts. Guests will appreciate a genuine reflection of Hawaii’s rich history while enjoying an ocean view and sunset.

Learn the myths & legends of the Hawaiian Islands. Dancers perform only Hawaiian hula dancing in contrast to the Polynesian revues performed elsewhere. This luau is located beachfront in Old Lahaina Town. Included is an all-you-can-eat buffet and open bar.
Aloha Greeting:
- Guests are individually greeted with a fresh flower lei and tropical drink. Premium bar included throughout the evening.
- Lu’au hosts escort guests to reserved seats and acquaint them with our luau grounds.

- Imu presentation where guests gather as the kalua pig is unearthed from the “Imu”, our traditional Hawaiian underground oven.
- During the first hour, guests can learn about our fascinating Hawaiian history and culture in our laulima (working together) area, along the ocean’s edge.
- Hawaiian music presented by Na Leo Ho’oulu.
The Feast (Pa’ina Ahiahi):
- (3) Three-course Pre-Set meal will be served by our Hosts.
- Starter Course: Freshly Made Chips, Ulu Hummus, Haupia, Kulolo, Palaoa (Taro Rolls), Guava-Honey Butter.
- Main Course: Imu Roasted Pork, Lau Lau – Lu’au Leaf Wrapped Pork, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Fresh Poke ‘Ahi, Pohole Salad, Pa’i’ai, Grilled Flat Iron Steak, Island Fresh Catch with a Garlic Lemon Aioli, Pineapple Huli Chicken, Seasonal Farmed Leafy Vegetables, Uala – Sweet Potato wrapped in banana leaf topped with Coconut Milk.
- Dessert Course: Pineapple Delight – House-made Pineapple Sponge Cake, Toasted Meringue, garnished with a Chocolate Hawaiian Petroglyph, Coffee and Tea Service

Gratuity for service staff is inlcuded in the price and is shared directly with servers, bussers, bartenders, and culinary staff.
Sit one of two ways—at a dining table on chairs, or seated in the first level around the stage, where you’ll sit cross-legged on cushions and dine from a low-set table. Each table fits up to eight (8) l au guests and will be shared, depending on your party size. Guests may choose from our Traditional Hawaiian Mat seating (dining on a low table, seated cross-legged on cushions – No back support) – (No outside chairs, car seats, or strollers allowed), or our regular Conventional Tables and Chairs. Please confirm your preferred seating style at the time of reservation, as we will not be able to move your seating style, as we will not be able to move your seating on the night of the lu‘au. Please let us know of any special considerations such as infants, wheelchair, scooters, etc.
