Ka’anapali Beach is one of the world’s most celebrated beaches, as well as the starting point for this popular snorkel sail. Due to the convenient beach loading, this half-day ocean adventure gets you to some of Maui’s best dive sites quickly for swimming and snorkeling. With spectacular views of Moloka’i, Lana’i and the majestic West Maui Mountains as a backdrop, Discover Ka’anapali is a photographer’s dream! From the pristine waters of Honolua Bay*, to the expansive shallows of Olowalu*, Maui’s Mother Reef, the west coast of Maui offers some of Hawai’i’s most unspoiled coral reef ecosystems known for their abundance of honu (the Hawaiian green sea turtle). We provide all snorkel equipment including instruction and wetsuit tops. We also offer the upgrade option to try the exciting sport of SNUBA®. Finally, while it’s tough to beat Mom’s homemade cinnamon rolls or Capt. Coon’s BBQ teriyaki chicken prepared by your captain for lunch, what really sets Trilogy apart is the personal attention each of our guests receive.
*****There are times that the weather will make snorkeling at Honolua Bay and/or Olowalu undesirable and dangerous. On these days, the captain will choose the best alternate snorkel location. Please be advised there will be no refunds issued.*****
MENUS
BREAKFAST: Mom Coon’s 4th generation recipe Cinnamon Rolls, Fresh Fruit, Kona Coffee, Hot Tea, Hot Cocoa & Pineapple Juice.
LUNCH: Captain Coon’s Hot BBQ Teriyaki Chicken *GF, Fresh Tossed Green Salad with Mom’s Secret Dressing *GF, Vegetarian Luau Rice *GF, and Assorted Rolls. A wide assortment of non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the day.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free (*GF) meals are available only upon request when booking your reservation.
PREMIUM BAR: For guests ages 21 years and older*, two premium beverages are included on the return sail! *Must have I.D. present Includes: Moloka’i Mule, Lana’i Tai, Prosecco, Locally Brewed Beer, Meiomi Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
- We do not permit the use of any full-face snorkel masks on our tours
- We provide snorkel gear for ages 4+ and flotation devices for kids 2+; you may bring your own puddle-hoppers or lifejackets for children. For young children, we recommend trying the Discover Ka’anapali or Discover Lana’i as the most family-friendly tours.
- You may choose not to snorkel and relax on the deck of the boat, but our crew is trained to assist first-timers learning to snorkel so you will have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM
- If you are prone to motion sickness we offer over-the-counter remedies, but it is recommended that you take a dose 2 hours before the trip.
- Please wear swimwear & bring sun cover-up, hat, and towel
LOCATION: Sheraton’s Beach Lawn
We will be loading from the beach, you can expect to get wet up to your knees when you board. This tour is not recommended for guests with mobility issues. Please consider a tour with a Ma’alaea Harbor departure.
